the sales ladies at market! market! were extra-friendly when i was paying for my purchases. i found that odd, knowing how aloof i could be when dealing with strangers. the young women kept glancing at me and i heard one of them hum a familiar tune.
"...nag-aabang sa langit, sa mga ulap sumisilip..."
