short film idea #5 (if only i were a filmmaker).

starbucks katips, this afternoon.

Shot from Take On Me video. Animation produced by Michael Pattersonso i was doing a little drawing on a piece of napkin. a guy with headphone walking along some urban street. one of my default drawings. not that many details because the ink was dissolving the paper.

(i was doing it because, minutes before, paeng drew a man playing a guitar on a piece of napkin. he did an excellent work, too - more detailed and way better than what i did.)

mia saw what i did. "he's so cute!" she said. (i think she also said "i love him na," but i'm not really sure.)

she said she wanted to go inside the napkin to see the guy. a bit like that a-ha video, take on me. only it's a piece of napkin, not a comicbook.

"maybe you could do a short film on that," i joked. "a sort of homage to that a-ha video." wouldn't the whole idea be trippier?

mia actually kept the piece of paper, folded neatly before she put it in her bag. i thought that was a really nice gesture, how she put it away so carefully. "hey, scan me a copy of that and send it to me," i told her.

(but you know, i was really flattered that really liked that drawing.)
