i watched sarong banggi last night (thank you thank you, jade), half-waiting that point where there was a scene in a restaurant where i was one of the "customers."
it's quite a surprise seeing myself in one corner of the screen, acting in a fashion that's both familiar and foreign at the same time. i take comfort on the fact that at least this time, i wasn't one of the main actors and that no one from the audience are likely to recognize me.
during that restaurant scene, i was remembering what it was like that night those scenes were shot. i was in a table of photographers, seated next to papa dom. we were laughing at the fact that we were acting like we were eating despite of the fact that we already finished most of the food on our table even before the shoot started.
i very rarely get starstruck. i discovered that jacklyn jose is one of the few local actresses who could make me gawk speechless.
