arrogant, homophobic frat boys should be fucked in the butt. they annoy me to no end.

01.
one of the guys working tonight keeps on saying "eww" at the slightest gay innuendo and i have to stop the urge of ramming his keyboard up his nether regions everytime he does that.

he should realize that "eww," when said in a certain way, sounds faggotty on him.

02.
a joke that i usually mention is how i have fond memories of not watching chungking express. other movies that i could include in that list would be stardust (a story which i will probably never pot in public) and, added just tonight, closely watched trains.

closely watched trains is part of the on-going cine europa film festival. i was intrigued by a summary presented in a local website describing the movie to be about a young man who wanted to lose his virginity in the middle of world war II. it sounded a bit like malena.

the movie was the last film shown earlier, but i arrived at the mall five minutes after the screening time. the guard wouldn't let me in. he asked if i already had a ticket; when i said no, he said he was told not to let anyone in anymore. i wanted to tell him it was a free screening, but it wasn't worth the effort.

03.
i guess i should've realized i was not meant to watch it. i asked some people if they wanted to see the movie with me since yesterday. until this afternoon, i was sending messages to friends; people were either busy or broke or too sleepy to make it. fine. i could watch a movie a lone, but if the movie was good, it'll be weird laughing alone inside the theater. it would be a bit sad, too, laughing alone.

eventually, i found no movie buddy so i decided to trek to the cinema alone. after a long time, i started singing gone to the movies while i was inside the jeep on the way to edsa. it used to be that i would play this song on repeat while lying in bed until i fall asleep. my semisonic CD has become too scratched to be playable.

04.
after i left the mall in frustration, i was left in edsa without any idea of where to go. it's already way past the malls' operating hours. i know of some bookstores that are open until midnight, but i don't wish to be tempted to buy new books (i just bought 3 comic TPBs drawn by ben templesmith the other day). i could go back home and sleep early, but after 2 days of little sleep for working on the office's halloween decors, i spent practically all day sleeping.

i decided to drop by the office, instead, for free internet. wasting company resources is great. before i went in the building, i passed by a convenience store to buy some soda. when i got out, i saw a friend who worked in the next building whom i haven't seen in months. it's funny how our offices are less than ten minutes away from each other (that includes elevator travel time), and yet we hardly see each other. raffy gave me a tight hug when he saw me and explained that the reason he wasn't returning my messages was because his phone is dead. again.

05.
karlos was complaining about people who owed him money not paying, so now he's the one without money. i could totally relate.

one guy (let's call him the prick), karlos said, bought something from karlos. the prick wouldn't pay because some girl officemate said what karlos sold wasn't genuine. the prick argued that that was enough reason not to pay karlos.

that the prick believed the product he bought was fake just because somebody else told him it was meant the prick is seriously lacking personal judgment. if the prick really thought the product was fake, he should have returned it to karlos before instead of using it and waiting for karlos to demand payment only to say oh, sorry, he's not paying 'cuz some girl said the product was fake.

i told karlos he really should find friends who are less brain-dead than the people he usually mentions to me. i feel bad for the guy, he's stuck in a rut and people he's helped with before are  not doing anything to help him now.

06.
i invited vanessa to the movie this afternoon. she hardly watches movies in the cinemas. the last time she was in a movie theater was because i dragged her there, too.she couldn't go this time because she spent the afternoon doing the laundry. she said she might fall asleep in the middle of the film.

some time after i got inside the office, she SMSed complaining how she can't sleep because of neighbors doing karaoke. we were just taking about it last night over dinner. i asked her to have dinner with me before going home; i was very sleepy after working on the office decors, but i was more hungry than sleepy so i wanted something to eat first before i collapse in the office sleep room.

vanessa described two neighbors: one was singing unchained melody, the other was singing my way. i replied, advising her to leave their place at once because bombs might drop in on their area in a few minutes. later, she texted back, saying her neighbors were able to run through several eras of annoying karaoke song: "from frank sinatra, carpenters, tom jones, air supply, 80's [pop music], 4 non-blondes ... aegis ... jusme, may duet pang nalalaman [my god, they're even doing a duet] - total eclipse of the heart."

i wanted to reply something to sympathize, but i think i ran out of load.
