i'm working on an article on el cheapo cocktails that were invented in various street-side inuman.
some time back, i was in an inuman in a friend's house where one of the drinking buddies mixed a drink made from gin and chocolait. i was really good, actually, and tasted a bit like bailey's.
have you gone drinking someplace where someone made something similar? i mean, create a cocktail out of really cheap ingredients and use a recipe that could be different from standard bar cocktail recipes?
i'm thinking drinks like these are often invented by college kids, what with us having limited money during college but we still wanted to drink, and sometimes we wanted something different from red horse or empi and chaser. or they could even be recipes of those mamang tomador sa kanto who wanted something different from their usual drinks.
so if you know of, or have had, cocktails (that is, mixed drinks -- not just a shot with some kind of chaser) that were invented because of tight budgets, please message me. i would really, really be grateful.

yeah, gincolait yung na-try namin before. then there's LPG (beer and extra joss) kasi lasing pero gising. i need some recipes para dun sa sinusulat ko eh. :-D
