Tales Of The Black Freighter is a fictional comicbook that appeared in Watchmen. Throughout the series, an issue of Tales titled Marooned appeared as a comic-within-a-comic which served as counterpoint to some characters' stories within Watchmen.
The fictional comic appeared mostly as dialogue boxes and occasional panels. Someone attempted to recreate the fictional comic and presented it as how it might appear in an actual, stand-alone publication.
