They're both expensive and would only be used once.

The choice is between an E'heads reunion concert ticket or a pair of leather shoes I will be wearing for Saturday's wedding.

I may be choosing to get the shoes for a one-time formal event instead because people have been dissuading me from wearing sneakers with my barong. I mean, what's wrong with that?

Oh yeah, I also need a white undershirt and a pair of formal pants. Definitely a manicure and maybe some professional hair styling, too.

This is why I dislike formal events in general. And for all I know, I'll end up taking most of the photos instead of being in them.

ako nga 550php (at inulit ko pang talaga ang pera ko) na lang natitira so mangungutang pa ba ko kung para lang sa isang event lang? naku.. ibili mo na ng sapatos yan.

sneaks + barong? what are you a rapper? ahihihi.
i say go for leather schusesoses! it's a good investment since you can wear it with almost anything.
i dig e'heads but by jove, a night (just 1) of cool music which will eventually progress into a moshpit of sweat and bloodbath over a luxe piece of wearable art you can weerk for the nth time? haller, d'you have to choose?! by the piggy skin, it'll be worth it. :D

i'd like to believe that in could get away with it and be at the other end of the country before anybody realizes the major fashion faux-pas i had the gall to commit.

but then again, it's all moot since i already decided to skip the concert.

it's not worth it kung di vip pass ang ticket mo.

hay...i also hate wearing formals!
i love to party but not the formal wedding types.
i am also in dilemma coz my friend will be tying the knot next month and on her invitation, it says there attire: men: Barongs. i hate wearing Barong's, it's very uncomfortable!
argh!
