there were some knotted strands in my hair that i noticed while i was in the shower earlier this afternoon. it must've happened when i tried to remove the band tying my hair, causing some strands to knot among themselves.
i tried unknotting it for several minutes (if i tried to do it longer i would've been late for work) but i wasn't successful. resigned that there is nothing else i could do to untie the knot, i decided to cut of the knotted strands. i snipped away three to four inches of hair that grew from my nape. the last time i had some of my hair cut was when i decided to have my hair trimmed after i grew it for a year. i hadn't had any bladed object shear away any bit of hair from my scalp until today.
ironically, i discovered the tangle while i was trying a hair product that promised to minimize hair tangles.

not at all. it's just a small amount of hair among the lower layers nung buhok. it was just a lock na ginupit ko. but still, nakakahinayang din sya.

Regularly, yes. Sometimes accidentally too.
More like people don't notice the shoddy job I've made of it (viz, uneven length).
You kinda get away with that sort of thing (or never really needing to comb) with fabulosa super curls like ours.
so true. i don't think i've combed my hair in 2 or 3 years, either. i guess i'll stop letting it grow once the length reaches my waist.
