My eyes feel like they've been gauged out of their sockets then put back in again. My joints seem alien to me, causing mild but often-present pain when I move myself. Often, I have to decide for less joint discomfort or ease of breathing.
And I haven't eaten properly in 3 days. Well, at least my pants won't be too tight this time. Always consider the bright side.
Yesterday, I went to a doctor to get prescriptions for meds. At the drug store, the pharmacist asked me if I'd be buying all 21 pills that were what I was supposed to ingest. I suspected why she was hesitant about giving me the meds, so I asked her how much they would cost me. She said that would be 1300 pesos.
Oh fark. Not like I had much choice, did I? Those antibiotics better be worth it, that's all I'm saying.
I'll ask one of the flatmates to buy a thermometer later. I need to know if my temp's gone down.

coz it'll work within 24 hrs. and the pain would subside.
get well soon :-) for your sore throat, try putting 1 teaspoon in salt in half a glass of warm water and gargle as long as you can

Sweety, what kind of illness do you have? Is it just plain Flu? What if Denge yan? If your fever doesn't go down within the next 24 hours, have your blood checked.

24 hours later and my tonsils are still swollen, I still get recurring fever and I'm aching in various places. :-(

They alleviated hunger. First solid food I took. Mostly I survived on soup in the last 2 days.

It's a product of acute tonsilitis and, I suspect, an erupting wisdom tooth.
I don't see and red blotches on me so I guess it's not dengue.

Tonsilitis is the bitch and has been the scourge of my childhood. I hope you get better soon. I'd give you some advise but all the good ones have already been stated.
