- each blogger starts with ten random facts/habits about themselves.
- bloggers that are tagged need to write on their own blog about their ten things and post these rules.
at the end of your blog, you need to choose ten people to get tagged and list their names.- don't forget to leave them a comment telling them they're tagged, and to read your blog.
- before working as a phone monkey, i was doing some part time illustration work. in many ways (except maybe in financial terms), illustration was the most fulfilling job i ever had.
- my swearing started late in high school and quickly became second nature since then. i made up for lost time with the intensity of my delivery of profanities, but my choice of swear words is actually quite limited and not very original. on some days, it requires more effort from me not to swear.
- there is a relatively big box in my parent's house containing cute, cuddly plush toys that i collected from thrift stores. i didn't have many toys when i was younger, and (i thought) i didn't mind not having them; but it seems like my childhood caught up with me now that i'm older. other things i collect are tarot decks, discworld and other fantasy novels, comic books, and cheap but pretty dining plates and mugs.
- T9 is an amazing bit of technology that i always, always take advantage of; people will hardly see me use shortened words when writing my text messages.
- a major pet peeve is being asked for confirmation multiple times. once i confirmed i will be doing something, i need not be asked again if i will indeed do it. twice i could understand but a third time is excessive. this could annoy me so much that i sometimes decide to cancel an agreement out of exasperation.
- my kitchen contains mismatched plates and mugs. sometimes i'd wear mismatched nail polish or shoes. but i will almost always insist that my eating utensils should match, to the point that i will hunt for a matching pair of spoon and fork.
- unanswered questions, especially if the questions came from me, irk me. it doesn't matter if the answer is not truthful, or incomplete; i just needed to hear an answer. i get all neurotic if a question has been asked but was ignored.
- washing dishes calm me. people who are horribly stressed should wash dishes, i think; the repeating movements that doesn't require a lot of thinking helps ease a tired mind. also, vani knows that i will not use scouring pads on glassware and plates and will stop people who would even attempt to do so on my eating utensils.
- when i get a relatively good joke via SMS that i wanted to pass to friends, i sometimes edit it. i usually remove the "canned" laugh in the end (why do filipino text-sent jokes need to have a "ha-ha laugh track" in the end? isn't the joke's punch line enough?) or alter the horrible shorthanded spelling one usually encounters in texts.
- people who consistently type in nothing but tOgGLeD TeXt should die slow, painful, horribly violent deaths. i believe writing in toggled text should be banned by international treaty.
this is not the first 10-things-about me meme i finished, though. and prolly not the last, either.

I do that, too. I also clean up the grammar and spelling, even if it lengthens the text message.
