a few minor accidents.

01.
i broke another chopstick i use to tie my hair with. i had the thing stuck in my back pocket when i sat down and one end leaned against the seat of my chair. i suddenly felt, rather than heard, a faint pop. it was too late, that's another kamagong chopstick broken.

02.
there is a wound on my right big toe. the reason i got it was this: i was walking along the bus stop in guadalupe. my left hand carried a bag of laundry i took from the parents' house, the other carried 2 huge bottles of soda and a bottle of vodka for that night's house party. all of a sudden, the bag with the bottles tore and the vodka bottle fell on my foot. that's a large bottle of vodka spilled on the street - what a waste of alcohol.

after i cleaned up the shattered glass, i looked at my toe and saw it was bleeding rather heavily. a shard of glass must have cut the toe without me feeling it. well, i thought, at least th alcohol disinfected the wound. and already the blood was starting to clot, so i didn't end up losing too much blood.

for a moment i thought about taking a photo of my bleeding toe, but the moment passed and i didn't.

03.
people thought it was my birthday, which was the reason i threw a party at the chair-less flat. it wasn't; last saturday was the night i had a weekend off so i thought i'd enjoy it because i will be missing on my weekend social life from this point on. and i'm glad of the people who came and made the whole thing so much fun, even without alcohol. i will never look at wonder woman in quite the same way again.

daryl dropped by wearing his geta, which i borrowed when i fetched roman an hour later. it wasn't as difficult to walk with as i imagined (i was even able to run some short distance without much difficulty) but the clacking noise was unsurprisingly loud. say good bye to any attempt at stealth. the impact on the heels are pretty tough though; i suspect the slight pain on my calves are because of those clogs. but will that stop me from getting a pair for myself?
