no gall stones found, no surgery needed. big sigh of relief from the family.

i told jon ("prayers help, agnoticboy") i'd go for good vibes, if it's all the same. but i sincerely thank everyone's prayers, good vibes and moral support (depending on where in the religious spectrum you might lie) for my mother.

she's better now. the pain were cause by inflammation and the antibiotics given to her helped a lot in alleviating it. there were no stones found in her gall bladder but there was a polyp, which is benign in itself but could cause complications in the future unless she made changes in her diet.

she doesn't require surgery (collective sigh of relief from the family) and will see the doctor again in two weeks for a follow-up check up.
