three musketeers.

that was the subject line of the email kel sent containing this photo. he IM'ed me, asking if i could received a file transfer over YM but i was using my phone that time so i asked that he email me whatever instead.

the was taken during his birthday celebration at cubao x. i was at the bar taking to the guy in black who was the best friend of a girl named paula.

paula, bless her, was a girl a met previously in cubao x and both times i met her, she was very thoroughly drunk. because i'm bad at names, i only remembered her name was paula on the second time i met her but as soon as she greeted me, i remembered the tall and lively, slightly swaying young woman in a long lacey skirt i met a few weeks back.

but there was the guy in black. i can't remember his name now (totally my fault) but i remembered he was a soft-spoken metalhead painter. i asked him how long it took him to grow his hair (three years?) and while we were talking, the other guy in white came to the bar and bought a beer. he complimented our hair and asked if my curls were natural (they are).

in barged paula in her flowery dress (earlier, i shouted at her that i thought she only wore black; she said it's because she's celebrating being single again). she asked us three to pose for a photo there by the bar, and we obliged. she said something about some guys having long hair to which i pointed out that her hair was longer than any one of us.

now that i remember it, kel was outside when this photo was taken so he didn't know about it until afterwards.
